Diwali (Festival of Lights)

Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and some Buddhists all around the world. Diwali, is dedicated to the worship of the powerful goddess Kali, the dark goddess of strength to eradicate darkness of mind, evil intension and spread prayers and love among people to create a wonderful atmosphere and fills everyone’s hearts with an aura of purity and happiness. Diwali illuminates our inner self. The lights of Diwali also signify a time to destroy all our dark desires, dark thoughts, and have a deeper, inner illumination and self-reflection. Every year BSPC celebrates Diwali to unites people from every corner, belief, and background of various communities in Western Australia.
